Friday Favs - Movies!

TGIF! It's been a long busy weekend here at our house and I'm extremely grateful that Friday has finally arrived. For this week's Friday Favorites posts, I'm going to list my Favorite 80s movies. Cause I'm an 80s child and it was during that decade that the BEST movies were produced. And you know it's a good movie when you see it replayed on TV and you have to drop everything you're doing to watch it, even though you may have already seen it 50 million times. So here goes...

The Breakfast Club - Oh who am I kidding, if it was a bratpack movie, it was a fav of mine. So let's not forget Sixteen Candles, St. Elmo's Fire, Pretty in Pink, and About Last Night, just to name a few. It was THE decade to be a Rob Lowe, Judd Nelson or Emilio Estevez fan for sure. And let's not forget Andrew McCarthy, Anthony Michael Hall, Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore and Alley Sheedy. Which brings me to...

Short Circuit - I never saw the sequels, but the original holds a special place in my heart and I really have no desire to see the others. Ally Sheedy, Steve Guttenberg and Number 5! It didn't get any better than that. Number 5 is ALIVE!

Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Bueller? Bueller? 'nuff said!

Summer Rental - And just about every John Candy movie ever made!!

Back to the Future - All 3 of those movies were just great. Back when Michael J. Fox was in his prime.

The Princess Bride - What can I say? No list of movie favs would be complete with out this movie. I have yet to see a movie whose dialog even remotely compares to this one.
