Ok - I finally got around to taking some more pictures yesterday, before it started raining thankfully! Our carpenter is zipping right along with the cedar on the back and it's looking great.
And here you can see B followed me out with his jar of bubbles.

It looks awesome! I am very jealous that you are nearing the end of your home projects while mine are just beginning (again), but the results are amazing!
We will be moving up to your neck of the woods in October... we will definitely have to get together (and maybe even invite SJ!)
